Company Secretary Service

Each company must appoint a local Hong Kong company secretary who must reside in Hong Kong or a body corporate that must have its registered office in Hong Kong, according to the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 32) of the Laws of Hong Kong.

Of all the duties, the HK company secretary has to make certain that the company is in compliance with the statutory requirements of the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and must maintain the statutory books and records of the company. However, a sole director/shareholder cannot act as company secretary. A nominee secretary can be appointed.
